We’re excited to announce the newest addition to the UK-NSI Engineering Team, Graduate Engineer Jessy Rai, who recently joined us as part of our ongoing commitment to developing future engineering talent.

Jessy joins UK-NSI with a strong academic background after graduating from Aston university completing his BEng in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, bringing fresh perspectives and innovative thinking to our Test & Manufacturing Engineering environment. With a keen interest in automation, continuous improvement and problem solving, Jessy will be working closely with our experienced engineering mentors on live projects spanning PCB and Assembly test methodologies, software development, process optimisation, equipment upgrades and data driven efficiency improvements.

ISO 45001 is the world’s leading Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) standard, designed to help organisations create safer working environments, reduce workplace risks and enhance overall employee well-being. It sets the benchmark for proactive health and safety practices, helping companies like UK-NSI to systematically manage risks while improving employee engagement and compliance with regulatory requirements.

We are delighted to share that UK-NSI has successfully completed its ISO 14001 surveillance audit and has been recommended for continued certification to the internationally recognised ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) standard.

During the recent audit, the external auditor described the UK-NSI Redditch site as “Exemplary” offering high praise across a wide range of environmental management areas including housekeeping, documentation, waste segregation, plant rooms, maintenance, compliance and energy management. The auditor also noted how well employees understood environmental processes and responsibilities, highlighting the strong culture of awareness and accountability across the site.
